An optional cover you can add to a booking. Damage arising from normal use is handled through the app rather than across a counter.
What it covers
Damage arising from normal use. The scope and the exclusions are shown alongside the listing terms in the booking step, and confirmed there.
How it is priced
It is calculated on the booking amount and appears as its own line in the payment summary. It is optional; a booking completes without it.
What happens if something goes wrong
It runs through the app: you report it from the message screen attached to the booking, and the record stays with it. A written process replaces a verbal argument at the counter.
What it does not cover
Intent, negligence and use outside the equipment's purpose are excluded. It is also not an insurance policy: the rental contract remains between the shop and the user.
